Meditation Retreats

The essence of meditation is an accepting, clear view of present life. It means being present in the moment – consciously embodying the immediate present, which is neither explainable nor predictable.

A meditation retreat offers the opportunity to experience peace and contemplation in a low-stimulus environment and open space for self-discovery.
Beyond concepts lies the stillness of pure being. Always. Now.

Autumn Retreat – Learning Inner Silence.

Chains of thought, brooding, circular thinking—movements of the mind that sometimes go on endlessly. A meditative approach arises not through suppression or struggle, but through allowing inner silence. From this emerges a space of mental autonomy, in which thoughts are allowed to come and go without dominating the experience. Being unintentionally in the moment means lingering beyond roles and expectations—and thus entering more directly into the experience of present existence.

New Year’s Eve Retreat – “Every Moment – a New Beginning”

Want to spend New Year's Eve differently? The Meditas New Year's Eve Retreat invites you to experience three days in meditative awareness – between spaces of silence and moments of inspiring exchange. Arriving, pausing, non-doing – a break from having to, needing to, and achieving. Walking and sitting meditations, as well as a mindful review of the year, open up a space for clarity, serenity, focus, and realignment with what is essential.

Meditation in Small Groups

The meditation retreats are conducted in small groups (6–14 people) to ensure individual support for all participants.

Individual Support

Two experienced meditation teachers each create a space where meditation is not only practiced together, but processes and challenges are also explained to make them understandable for everyone.

Mindfulness & Exchange

We conduct our retreats with mindfulness, but not in silence. Our pedagogical approach emphasizes group exchange as a significant component of the meditation path.

We look forward to seeing you!

10 Features that Define Our Retreats

All Meditas retreats are led by two pedagogically experienced meditation teachers. This ensures individual guidance for all participants.

Retreat means “withdrawal” and is a protected setting for individual experiences. This is ensured by a group size of 6-14 participants.

By practicing an open attitude of consciousness in meditation, one’s own ideas gradually become less important, while immediate experiences and insights increase.

Retreats offer the opportunity for stillness and withdrawal from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The retreat offers the opportunity to draw inspiration from nature and simply be, in the spacious garden and the vastness of the Burgenland plain.

The meditation retreat offers the opportunity to begin or deepen one’s own meditation practice.

Retreats offer a quiet and distraction-free environment that allows you to relax and reduce stress.

Through longer meditation periods and self-observation, thoughts, feelings, and reactions can be recognized.

Meditating with like-minded individuals can support motivation and attention during meditation, and exchange is a sustainable source of inspiration.

Our retreats offer a balanced diet consisting entirely of organic and vegan ingredients.
